Records of Birth, Death, and Marriage occurring in New Hampshire may be obtained through the Clerks office using the NHVRIN Program. Certified copies are $12.00 for the first record, and $8.00 for all others requested at the same time.
Some records are restricted. Contact the Clerk's office for these restrictions.
Marriage License
To obtain a marriage license, both parties must be present, and must have proof of identification, and any documents dissolving previous marriages ie: divorce decree, death certificate or annulment papers.
The cost of a marriage license is $45.00, payable by cash, check or money order payable to the Town of Newton.
