The Selectmen's/Assessing Office purpose is to develop equitable assessments for all properties within the Town. This assures that each taxpayer pays only his or her fair share of the annual tax levy of the Town in accordance with New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated, Supreme Court decisions and Administrative Procedures. The Selectmen's/Assessing Office maintains records of real estate ownership, assessments and sales on properties located within the Town. Property tax maps are available at the office. The office processes all applications for Veteran's
Tax Credit, Elderly Exemption, Blind Exemption, Current Use and Abatement requests.
