It is our goal to provide the residents with a safe, clean, and friendly trash and recycle center. Only Newton residents can deposit household trash and brush and you MUST have a resident sticker. Stickers are available at the Town Clerks office located at Town Hall and you must show proof of residency. Proof of residency is either your original purchase and sales agreement or a current Newton vehicle registration. Summer residents may receive a temporary sticker at the Selectmen's Office.
East Kingston, Kingston and South Hampton residents may use the Newton Transfer Station ONLY for the drop off of bulk items on Thursdays between 12pm-6:45pm and Saturdays from 1pm-4pm.
FREEZERS, REFRIGERATORS AND AIR CONDITIONERS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED DURING THE MONTHS OF APRIL THROUGH NOVEMBER.
